    Hi all,

My Honda started to make a squeaking noise every time I step on the clutch.
I thought may be the pedal needed some oil but it is not the pedal. The
noise is coming from the front of the engine, passenger side ... somewhere.
The dealer wants $70 to look at it. Am I looking at a new clutch here ? That
sounds expensive and premature :-(, if not how much (ball park) would the
    repairs be ? . Comments anyone ?

    thanks

    easy fix........

remoce clutch slave cylinder and line mounting bracket, 2 10mm bolts.

DO NOT open the hyd. line.

Apply just a dab of wheel bearing grease on the end of the "ball" stickign
    out of the slave cylinder.

    Reinstall.

If it still squeaks, tranny would have to be removed, but no harm is being
    done at this point.

    Honda "D" tranny guru.
