98 Civic DEFECT?

    hi, i got a civic gli hatchback 98 and the platic on the right of the
    steering wheel theres the fuse thing, and it wont fit in place properly, how
    can i fix this?

    Not a defect really, just flaky. Unless yours is an English version (or your looking at it up-side-down), the fuse cover is on the left side of the steering wheel. Make sure the hook thingys fit into the hook thingy loops on the dash (it's easy to try to hook it at the bottom of the rectangular hole - WRONG!) Then make sure the plastic tab at the top-middle of the door has a metal clip thingy attached. Wiggle it around a bit if it doesn't latch. You might have to spread out the metal clip a bit to give it gripping power. Good Luck! GLI? No such thing! SI on a 98 - don't think so either.

    in the US there is a bulletin for an updated fuse cover clip. i see
    by your address you're in italy though. try the dealer and see if
    they've heard of it.
