98 CR-V reliable? or 98 rav4?

Thanks for the gen info. So the CRV was made to compete with the Rav4 i
guess. I have test drove a CRV and i didn't like it. It was (weirdly) too
roomy for me and it felt like a Van. I need to test drive a gen1 rav4 coz
the dealer was trying to sell me a gen2 which is out of my budget.


BTW whats the insurance rate difference with the toyota mini-suv to other
nonsuv cars? somebody told me its gonna be $400 more every six months here
in NJ.

not really. crv was avaliable in japan a year before usa.
