I have a 98 civic coupe ex (70K) and my passenger side power window
isn't working. There are no sounds coming from the door (like the
motor trying to work). I have checked the fuses and the switches and
all the connections and there is power going to the motor. I haven't
taken the motor out and I was wondering is there anything it could be
other than a motor problem. Any thoughts will help.
    Thanks
    Greg

If you see battery voltage at the connector that plugs into the motor
when you are pressing the relevant up/down buttons I would say odds are
the motor is dead. Try measuring if there is continuity between the two
terminals of the motor. I bet there isn't continuity but there should
be. It might be worth trying some contact cleaner in the brush area of
the motor, if you can get access.
