    Hey guys,

My ABS light came on on my '92 Accord EX with 178k mi. on it. I took
it to a mechanic and he said that the pump has to be replaced which
sounds about right considering the age and usage of the car. Thing is I
don't want to spend $1100 on the pump for a $2000 car. My question is
if there's a way I can turn the yellow ABS light off, maybe by pulling
    out a fuse or something???

The ABS/ALB fuse box in on top of the right shock tower. It's the front-
most of the two in that location. Start removing fuses until the dash light
    goes off.

You could also pull the bulb from the back of the console.

You can get a remanufatured on from Cardone for $263.99. I just
    checked advanceautoparts.

    Thanks a lot guys....

I was thinking about the fuse idea, but I was afraid I was going to
mess up something else by playing with that...

Nope. So long as you pull fuses only from the ABS fuse box, you're fine.
