I need a new ABS Modulator for a 95 Accord EX. A used auto parts
place has an ABS Modulator that has an Acura part number
(57110-ST5-053), but they claim this part is compatible with 94-97
Honda Accords. Can anyone confirm that claim?

That sounds right. They are all the same for those years.

  3. What year is the Acura and is that a V6 Accord? AFAICT between '95-'99
Acura TLs used three different modulators. The '95-'96 Acura modulator
looks similar to the '95 Accord's but there could be mounting differences
and even differences between the I4 and V6 Accords. The part number
doesn't turn up anything at www.hparts.com but I'm not sure if Acura has
identical part numbers to the equivalent Honda parts anyway.

Check them out at www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and the link from there to
    AcuraAutomotiveParts.

buy a used one and you'll get to do it twice. i had a customer
that kept bringing me junk yard modulators to replace his, after 5 of
them we got one that worked. and he paid for every install, cost him
as much as the factory reman in the end!!

  5. Sounds about right - most people neglect their brake system hydraulics and
IME, ABS components, especially the modulator are more susceptible to
    damage from old brake fluid.
