From searches I have done on google, it seems as tho the Canadian Spec 2000
CR-V has ABS as stanadard equipment. I just want ot make sure this is true
before buying one. The reason I am questioning it, is that a lot of ads for
these cars in the AutoTrader do not list ABS as some of its features.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Probably because ABS is pretty much assumed on Canadian CRVs. People
take it for granted up here. If in doubt, look under the hood and see if
there's a gizmo below the battery, with seven or eight brake lines going
    into it.

Also do a 'lamp test' to be sure the ABS light comes on if you turn the
key to position II, then wait five seconds to be sure it goes out. You
could also test it on gravel or icy road to see if it actually
    'performs'. Usual disclaimers apply. :)
