    Hello,
Have an accord lx 2001 with about 36K miles.
For two mornings now (it's about 35 degress outside),
I notice that I have to press harder on the accelerator
pedal to cause it to move.

Only has happened twice so far and both times
early morning. During the day, it appears fine.

    Any suggestions on this?

The other problem I have had is that the car doesn't
run smoothly when accelerating after idle. Appears to go
forward rather abruptly. Could this be related to the pedal
    or are they separate issues?

    THANKS

Try cleaning the throttle body. It gets sticky around the butterfly and the
first symptom is usually sticking when you first try to move the gas pedal
on a cold morning. If its really gummed up, it could also be responsible
    for your other problem.

  3. True for lots of guys, usually goes away after you take a leak.
