Can anyone help me, please, with a problem that is perplexing me and
my local main dealer in the UK?
The car is great except it won't idle because cylinders #1 and#2 are
cutting out. At anything above 1500 rpm the engine runs fine. The
    dealer has done the following:-
Used PGM and it says everything is Ok
Swapped from a donor car, plugs, leads, injectors, distributor, ECU,
and renewed the O2 sensor. The cylinder head has been removed, decoked
(nothing special noted) and reassembled. The fault still persists. When
the swapped parts are on the donor car it runs OK.

Has anyone come across this before? Is it possible that at low rpm the
vtec mechanism is somehow jammed and is following the high rpm cam
profile and the problem is not being reported by PGM?

Please, please let me know what you think. My car has been in the
workshop for weeks and I need it back!

    Thanks
    Russ. (UK)
