My 2002 Accord clock backlight suddenly went out. Can anyone tell me if the
light bulb is changeable? Is it easy? Thanks in advance.

  2. BRUTALLY easy.

Get thee a small flat screwdriver, and a piece of cloth. Cover the
screwdriver's tip with the cloth, and insert this at the bottom of the
    clock.

    Pry.

Disconnect wires, pull out the clock, change the bulb, put back in.

If you have the bulb in hand, this is a 60 second procedure--the first
    time.

The bulb cost $3 as I recall. If you do the swap in the daytime you will NOT
be able to see the new bulb light up. It is that dim. Wait until it gets
dark to check your work. And it is an easy job.

Before you do anything like prying off, smack the dashboard right above the
    clock a couple of times.

Thank you all. Will try after I buy the bulb.
