    I know this is a Honda forum , but , I have a 1992 Accord.I've been
offered a "93 Camry....As far as reliability which would be the
best?..both have been maintained thru the years and mileage is very
    close....comments?

I am looking at an Accord and an Altima. For me the Accord has an edge
above the Altima, and both an edge over the Camry. However, if the
Altima does better with better interior materials, then Nissan's
engineering will definitely give Accord a run for the money. Camry is
roomy and has a soft ride, but its engineering is not as advanced as
    the other two.

The Accord and Altima have similarly advanced engineering. Altima
engines are more power and less fuel efficient than the accord. Camry
lacks behind the two in power and has less advanced suspension as
compared to the multilinks used on both the Accord and Altima.

With the Altima coming in a $1-2K below the Accord, either one you win
    - money or interior appointment. For me, the Camry is out of the
    picture.

  4. If your Honda is running great--I would keep running it. I don't believe
it is cost effective to buy a car even if it in great shape that is only
one year newer than the car you own. The exception to this rule would be
if your 1992 Accord has developed problems that are too expensive to fix.
The Camry is a great car.

If the mileage is close and the maintenance is similar, the longevity and
reliability is going to be similar as well. You are probably better off to
stick with the one you already have, since you probably are more familiar
    with its needs and quirks.

i would definately stick with your camry. Having worked for toyota and now
for honda i believe your honda will last longer and have less problems in
the years to come. The problem with that year camry is the oil ports. they
were made too small so if you (or the person who owned it before) don't
change the oil religiously every 3,000 miles, the ports will clog up due to
sludge and then goodbye engine. By the way I own a 92 accord with 140k on it
and it still purrs like a kitten.
