    Hello,
The Accord w/ fuel cell is due out late this year. I've read the discussion
here on hybrid efficiency vs ecologic impact. What is there to consider on
    this new Honda Accord ?

    Thanks

Just to clarify, there will be an Accord Hybrid in the fall, not an
Accord with a fuel cell. There will be a Honda FCX with the new fuel
cell in 2005, but this is not in any way similar to the Accord.

How sure is the 2005 date?

It may spur a new business for recycling batteries that need to be replaced
    every few years.....

Yes, my mistake. At any rate, any thoughts on whether a FC Honda has
    potential
as opposed to the gas-electric? Is the Accord Hybrid worth it?

I read ahead and noted the original poster meant batteries, not fuel cell.

But yes, I do know what one is.....

Depends on the details and the price, neither known today.

If the hybrid is based on the six, and has *better* acceleration, that
would be kewl, if the suspension can even handle it. But you may have
to pay a fat premium to get it, while supplies are limited.

On the fuel cell, what is the fuel supposed to be, hydrogen?
Gasoline? Corn oil? I'm sure those will be so limited in number the
first year or three, they'll just go to fanatics. Your interest and
your budget will matter far more than any details of the vehicle.
