Aparently there were Transmission problems in these models. Some of
them were replaced by the dealers in warrenty period.

If a car is in good condition (80K km) but its transmission has been
replaced by the dealer 2 years ago, will buying it be too risky?

    Thank you

  2. I think so. And I say that as a Honda loyalist for many years, who owns
a Honda minivan to this day.

Were I to buy, it wouldn't be any Honda V6/auto trans model from 1998
    through 2004.

The warranty on the 2000 TL transmission was extended to 100,000 miles/7
years, so the transmission in that car is still under warranty. Test drive
it. If there is any obvious weirdness in the way it shifts, pass on it.
    Otherwise, it should be fine.
