I have a 92 integra 1.7 vtec. My manual shows valve clearance for both
intake and exhaust at .006 . A mechanic at a import shop told me .007
intake .008 exhaust. who has the right answer and do I adjust hot or
    cold

Have you ever done the GSR valve adjustment?
It takes even a skilled mechanic over a hour.
    Engine must be cool.

  4. Which manual do you have? The factory service manual specs: Inlet
..006--.007 and Exhaust .007--.008 if you really insist on using inches.
It's really Inlet .15--.19 and Exhaust .17--.21 in mm and they should be
done cold, i.e. temp <100F or <38C. The locknuts should be torqued to
    14lb/ft

  5. Usually the information is "pasted" on the inside of the hood. Check to see
if your information is just above your head! :) wolf
