I have an '05 Civic and I want to add XM. I'd like to integrate it
into the existing factory stereo. Anyone have any idea what parts I
would need? I know I need an antenna and an XM tuner, but I'm not sure
what else. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Does your existing factory stereo have the 'XM Ready' logo on it? Makes
    a huge difference.

Never really noticed. Am I safe in assuming if it has that logo that
all I need is a tuner and antenna and if it does not have the logo I
would need to get a Roady or MiFi or something similar?

Go to Xmfan.com. The forums there will fill you in on all your options, and
you can find links to the equipment you need there, too.

A friend has an XM receiver that has a line-out "headphone" jack.
We tossed the antenna on the dash, and plugged my PIE adapter into the
    receiver.

    Some earlier thoughts from me:

I didn't have to pull the radio out of my 2003 Civic Hybrid.
After lifting out a piece of the console, I reached in behind the radio and
plugged in the adapter. I couldn't see what I was doing, but it's a 14 pin
keyed connector, so it's pretty easy to do.
