I check and adjust tire pressure on my car every 2 weeks, but I hate going
to the gas station. Any body knows a good small air pump to do the job?

I bought a little air pump at I think Advanced Auto parts several months
ago. It plugs into your car's cigarette lighter. I think mine was on sale
for around $15. (I think Auto Zone and Walmart have them, too.) I have used
it several times now for both my car's tires and my bicycles' tires. It
works great. I'm going to check my car's tires' pressure about once a month
now (per the owner's handbook, IIRC, and instead of the maybe twice a year
and before big trips I'd doen before), since it's so easy.

The only drawback is that low pressures are hard to readout from the pmp
gage, so there might be more inaccurary than you like. On the third hand, I
filled my car tires with what I took to be the correct, 26 psi pressure as
read off the pump gage, and then used a manual gage to see if I could detect
    a difference. I couldn't. Both read about 26 psi.
