When will MP3 become a standard in automobile? Honda, Mazda and Nissan
still don't have it as a standard!

  2. Pretty much the moment you quit caring about it.

You're 17 years old; automakers don't design cars for you.

Besides, cars are designed 5 years out. What you're doing today, could
not have been dreamed of when the cars were being designed 5 years ago.

I got a mp3 player in my hondas radio. Just put one in yourself. Its real
nice when you can have 150 songs or a nice audiobook or two in one CD. :)

My element has a plug you can plug one into. And it's pretty easy to
replace the stock radio with an mp3 player - I had one in my 90
accord. Warning - the disk mp3 players are pretty crummy sounding
    compared to the diskless ones.
