Any Difference Between 2005 & 2006 CR-Vs?

I am in the market to buy a new Honda CR-V, but I would really like to
know whether to wait for the 2006s to arrive or purchase one of the
remaining 2005s off of my local dealership's lot?

The dealership doesn't have any sales brochures for the '06 CR-V yet
and I'm not at all confident in the salesman's knowledge of the upcoming
model's specifications and upgrades, if any, over the current model
    year.

Specifically, I am considering a CR-V SE, which my dealership does
happen to have available in white [among a few others] and with a lot of
dealer-installed optional equipment already added. To seal the deal,
they said that I could have the vehicle for invoice, but I'm wondering
if there have been any noteworthy upgrades and/or alterations for the
2006 models (aside from the requisite price hike, of course!) that I
    should wait for?

Thanks in advance for your input!

  3. Should be a redesign for 2007 models.

What Edmunds.com Says: Honda will attempt to match Toyota's 2007 RAV4
    pound-for-pound with its redesigned CR-V.

What We Know: While Honda has been almost as tight-lipped about its
upcoming redesign of the CR-V as Toyota has about the vehicle's main
competition, the 2007 RAV4, big things are expected from the full-on
    redesign of this compact SUV.

Nearing its 10th birthday, the 2007 CR-V will receive an all-new
platform, which it will share with the 2007 Acura RD-X, as well as the
2006 Honda Civic. More horsepower can be expected from the vehicle's
2.4-liter inline four, bringing the CR-V closer to the 200-hp mark. A
hybrid version of the vehicle is anticipated for the 2008 model year,
before which the CR-V's build location will switch from Japan and
    England to the U.S.
