Bad Struts?

    Other than the obvious (like leaking fluid) how do you diagnose bad struts?

    Hi,
    Same as convetional shocks.
    Bounce testing.

  3. Yep, My 88 Accord LX has great struts, never replaced, until about 110k
    miles. :)

    You must have a 7th generation Civic (01-03). Take the car to the
    dealer, they replace tonnes of these a day and are extremely efficient
    at it by now. My last strut replacement was completed in 20 minutes on
    a 2002 Civic.

    It is a common and known problem with this car. The struts are under
    designed and cannot tolerate the abuse they get from poor roads for
    very long.
