How do you get the front rotor (disk) out? The big nut does not turn. What
is the right kind of tool(s) to use to replace the disk?

    Thanks for any advice.

A copy of the factory service manual can be found at

You should SEE the size of the special tool the honda mechanic that I
know built for this job. It bolts to the studs and has a 30 pound slide
weight. Not an easy job. I have 220,000 miles on the rotors on my car,
and they have never been off the car. bob

Here's a link to the service manual page which describes removal of the
    rotor, http://www.honda.co.uk/owner/AccordManual/400/12-18.pdf (also see
    http://www.honda.co.uk/owner/AccordManual/400/12-21.pdf). Note that this
page depicts that the rotor needs to be removed with the steering knuckle
removed from the car, however this does not need to be the case. This page
describes a method with the steering knuckle on the car,
