i have the honda coolant and want to change it in our 2001 civic.....
i have never messed with a 4 cyl. engine before and was always told that
there is a air bleed bolt that you have to remove to bleed the air out
of the coolant system in a 4 cyl. engine when you put the coolant back
in so you dont have any air pockets.. i dont have any manuals for this
car yet, seems haynes did not print up any 2001 civic books yet or i
just cant find them.. any help locating a bleed bolt on this car????
    thanks in advance....

Since 1996 Honda removed the bleeder screw on the Civics. Drain/flush the
coolant as in any car, then refill with 1/2 gallon antifreeze and top off
    with distilled water.

Idle the car for 30 minutes with the radiator cap off. The cooling fan
should cycle 2-3 times. Keep the radiator topped off the whole time.

Replace radiator cap, shut car off, fill over flow tank to tha MAX level.
