    Can anyone help please. I have recently bought Honda cr-v 2000cc
    petrol auto.
    It is an imported vehicle, when it was imported the clock was in
    kilometres,the the speedo front cover was changed for miles and the
    speedo recalibrated.

    The speedo however was not turned back to reflect the true mileage in
    miles.
    There is a letter from the supplier stating that when the vehicle was
    sold to the person I bought it off that the mileage was 77896
    kilometres = 44.083 miles.
    Since purchase eleven months ago the owner has driven a further 5624
    miles, the clock now shows 77896 kilometers plus the additional 53707
    miles. I understand that it is possible to get the speedo clocked to
    reflect the correct miles instead of kilometeres, and also obtain
    details in writing why the change has taken place.
    Could anyone point me in the right direction. thanks

  2. I'm not aware of anybody that adds mileage to an odometer....a sticker is
    generally attached to the vehicle door jam and a note on the registration
    somewhere indicating the mileage at which the odometer was replaced.
