changing temperature sending unit

  1. Hi there,
    Can somebody teach me (or guide me) on how to change my civic 92 sending
    unit....Can I change it myself or do I have to bring it to a mechanic. Thank
    you.

    do it yourself...........

    all you need is a 12mm deepwell socket and a racthet. The temp sending unit
    in underneath the distributor. You'll see 2 units, you want to back one,
    closest to the firewall. You will need to drain the coolant or it will get
    messy.
