Check Engine Light On - What Should I do?

    Hi, Friends,

    I just got used Honda 1998 Civic Coupe with 89,000 miles.

    I have already gone for my 90,000 miles service.

    Now suddenly I got one light saying "CHECK" at engine symbole.

    So, What should I do?

    Please help me.

    do what it says... check the engine... if you don't know how to take it to
    someone who does.

    Check the owner's manual, check the gas cap. Did it happen after a
    fill-up? You'll have to drive it three times if it was the cap, and if
    it wasn't, go get the codes read for FREE at ___________ depending on
    what country you are in. Tell us the actual numeric codes.
