Civic 98 AC Recharge ?

    Had to install a new fan motor which meant disconnectiong the
    evaporator and discharging AC.

    " Don't tell me about pollutants please ".

    Any recharge kits available to order on line. JC Whitney use to have
    but
    can not find.

  2. Huh? Surely it's possible to change the fan without touching the A/C
    system at all. You might have had to remove, maybe just lift a bit, the
    radiator but that's a lot easier to deal with than the A/C system.
    If you opened the system to the atmosphere, you're going to have to pull a
    strong vacuum for an hour or so before recharging with refrigerant - might
    also want to think about a new receiver/dryer. You should be able to find
    R-134a recharge kits at any auto parts store or WalMart but to do the job
    right you should really use a gauge/manifold set.
