2002 accord, 89,000 miles, clock works, yet no longer able to see it at
night, suppose it's a bulb, yet how to get to it, or what else might it
    be?

  2. Go to google.com, hit the "groups" button, and search this newsgroup.

This exact question is asked at least twice a week.

It costs me $2.04 for the replacement bulb. The odd part was that the
clerk didn't take a step, but rather simply reached under the register
and pulled out a replacement bulb - most be a VERY fequent replacement part.

  4. It is.

I like how Honda did it with the 98-02 Accords; however, despite using
the same clock on the Odyssey, the boneheads at Honda decided that you
shouldn't be able to remove the clock as easily in the Odyssey. The
official procedure is too damned involved for a $2 clock light.
Replacing that at the dealer turns into a $50 item. Ridiculous.

Doesn't Honda know about LED technology?

  5. I have the same problem in my 2001 Accord. How do you access the bulb? Does
    the clock just pull out?
