Comment on car insurance

I have Allstate and they do raise rates pretty much the same as all
insurers do. But overall they are the least expensive for me. I can't
imagine anyones policy every going down unless coverage was changed.

Last couple of cars have had safety devices earlier ones didn't have - ABS,
daylight running lights, side airbags, etc.; I turned 50 (premium
automatically went down); I took the safe driver course, etc., etc. Anyway,
I'm now paying about $400/yr. less than I was about 10 years ago.

As said, " unless coverage was changed ". You changed you coverage by a new
car, possibly less expensive to repair, safety features, etc.!
Apples/Oranges.

As said, " unless coverage was changed ". You changed you coverage by a new

that any interaction with them after a collision will involve a load of

It doesn't matter...Insurance carriers only are concerned about the people
who live in the same household or are REGULAR operators of the vehicles.
And of course any insurance carrier reviews the driving records of all
operators within the 3 year experience period (up to 10 years for DUI's and
other major violations)
