So, like everything else, it's a case of trade offs & good engineering.

Perhaps in Europe or other furrin places, but not in the good old USA.
We don't maintain our infrastructure at all. :)

    That's punctuation, not grammar.

I think that one's up for grabs, but that does seem to be a law, doesn't
    it? :)

Sorry, but no one *invented* English - it's a polyglot of Anglo Saxon,
Norse, French, German, etc., that evolved over centuries. IOW, the
kitchen sink of modern languages. :)

    Otherwise, it all be pendantics.

So that's why all wedding dresses are white..... All kitchen appliances are
    painted white ;>))

Well then I can lay claim to that evolution being part Norsk, part Dansk, little
bit of German and some Irish with a teeny bit "London" -----------

At least you can understand the communication bit however, lets get back on
track to the belt Honda salesman - 12 year old.

I smell bullshit. Like they don't let ZF engineer their
    transmissions.

A lot of the reason for out-sourcing things like trannies is that they
*don't* have to sweat all the details for that component.

No. Educate yourself. Google my posts, if you want. Buy yourself a

I think it can pass. If someone were flaming Borwards, we could write
of a "Borgward flame war." I hope nobody would coin "Borgwardian." On
    consideration, I don't even think that "grammar" is an adjective here;
it is then noun part of an adjectival clause with a preposition like
    "about" implied.

That's right. If you declare standards to be null and void, then you
can do anything you please. Would you like an input device that lets
you post using crayons? After all, you've now donned ermine robes and
declared ownership of the language, so if you shit on it, who's to
    challenge you?

Incidentally, the "?" in your post requires quotation marks.

Punctuation is inseparable from grammar; it breaks strings of words into
grammatically meaningful pieces. Now, if you wanted to point out that
my sentence was not a sentence, there would be no quibble.
