coolant temp sensor location on 99 accord?

Hello,

My temperature gauge is stuck at max whenever I turn the ignition
on even though the coolant & engine temperature is cold. I think
the sensor is busted or bad wiring.

I was wondering where it is located on 88 Accord. I looked near the
water pump but I see 2 of them. Is that it? Why two of them?

unplug one, see if the gauge goes down. might also be wires with bad
insulation shorting.

 

guage fully pegged out means bad sensor or broken connection, unplugging a
sensor will do nothing got the gauge.

Also, is the car a 88 or 99?????
