What would cause a shudder when doing a
    360 turn on dry pavment?

The rear differential needs a fluid change every 50,000 Km (30,000 Mi)
or it will make sick sounds when doing tight left-hand turns at low
speed. You have to use a litre of Dual Pump Fluid, and it's a 30 minute
DIY job. No special tools required.

The owner's manual is incorrect about the interval for that item.
