    hi
    I'm replacing the headlight

This wire pair (Balck & Red) (connector removed) powers the HID unit
    (Inverter)
    pictured here:

So I test-plugged to the HID unit.

Unknowingly the wires were in REVERSE position, so HID didn't come on
and the fuse (15A) was blown.

Have I done any damage to the car, wires or HID ?

    thanks

  2. The car is OK but the HID might be fried. Try it.

With any luck, the headlights will have a "crowbar" circuit. This is a
simple circuit designed to burn out the power supply fuses or even power
supply wires if the input isn't correct.

    thanks
    the HID comes on
guess that's why the connector doesn't give indication for red or black
