Dangling muffler; what to do?

    Nothing to stop you from buying the OEM part and taking it to your
    preferred mechanic/shop to install it.

    Or you could specify that only an OEM part be used by your non-dealer
    service shop;then they will buy the OEM part from the dealer (at a
    discount) and install it.
