Dashboard Gage Question

Discussion in 'General Motoring' started by Ernest Cassirer, Apr 10, 2006.

  1. I have a 2004 Civic LX with blue backlighted gages. They can be seen fine
when the headlights are off in the daytime,or on at night, but if I use the
headlights in the daytime the gages are very hard to see unless I really
boost the backlight level, and then I have to reduce it again for night, or
daytime with no headlights. Is there a way to keep the gages visible in the
daytime with headlights on without changing the backlight level all the
    time?

  3. --------------------------------

Go to hamsar.com and get a proper DRL module, then get it installed.
You're wasting way too much fuel by driving with ALL your lights on in
    the daytime.

Not to mention the excess wear and tear on the headlight switch. {;^)
