I fianlly got a deal put together on an Accord EX, 5 speed, four door, added
the leather steering wheel cover: $20,150. This was about $300 more than
pricing a close-out '03 last Oct. That includes some BS they call $150 "doc
    fee".

I think I could've done better but ready to get it over with. I wasn't ready
to cut nuts for a couple of hundred. The car had to be located and should be
    here and prepped by Thursday.

  3. Invoice is just about 19,500. A little over invoice is not a bad deal.
The dealer is entitled to some profit and I am sure even at invoice there is
a slight bit of money to be made. I would certainly not say you got
screwed. After all it is only $650 over invoice and your not buying a KIA
or Hyuandai which depreciate at a significantly higher rate than a Honda
Accord. The Honda Accord depreciates the least of ANY vehicle sold, and
holds it's value longer than just about any vehicle sold, besides maybe a
    Honda Civic.

Yeah, I knw the invoice. Not sure what it means. Most dealers get some kick
    back.

They told me it didnt include shippping @ $500. At least I got the sterring
wheel cover which is about $100 or more to buy retail.

I think it was fair, but I wasnt going to die over a couple of hundred.

Carsdirect is really far off of what I paid. They want $25200 for a EX V6, I
got mine for $23200. All I did was fill out the get a quote form right on
    the Honda web site.

Just got the car, they delviered it from Dallas, has 335 miles on it. It also
has hand painted pin stripe and tinted windows thrown into the deal for no
    x-tra charge.
