Decoding the engine number

    tag on engine says SHHEP33502U306631

    Can anyone tell me how to decode the number? It is a V-tech
    replacement in a late model Civic SI.

    According to what I found -- this must be a VIN # and shows a 2002
    Civic SI with the 2.0 efi engine. The # plate is rivited to the bottom
    side of the oil pan facing the back of the car.

    Says it's a 2002 UK Honda Civic SI.
