Does any one know of rusting problems for 2001 Civics?

    I have a 2001 Civic. The trunk is rusting in two spots and the hood's paint
    is peeling. Has anyone else had any or all of these problems>

    where do you live? does it rain or snow a lot? are the roads salted? do you
    park in a garage at home? what about at work?
