Door panel removal- how?

I need to remove the driver's side door panel from my '94 Civic HB SI
(still love it after all these years). I've looked all over for simple
instructions but no luck. I'd appreciate any tips you all might have.
The deal is: the window (crank type) is simply frozen, thankfully in
the up position. It had been getting progressively harder to raise and
lower. I don't think it's just cocked a little or derailed cause it
won't budge at all no matter how I try helping it while putting
    pressure on the crank.
Luckily I can ride my motorcycle when it gets warm out (the AC is
    weak).
    Enough rambling....
    Thanks for any help!

  2. Look for a screw in the lever that opens the door (in the plastic under
the lever) and then look at the bottom of the arm rest. There are probably
some plastic plugs covering the screw holes.

Also, if there is a 'cup' in the armrest used to close the door, look at
the bottom of that. Pay attention for plastic trim pieces covering the
    screws.

After you have removed all the xcrews you can find, remove the clip
holding the window handle in place. There is a tool for removing this for
$5-12, or you can wrap a rag around it and work the rag back and forth.
Safety glasses are particularly recommended for this method, as the clip
may fly when released. Or, use a screwdriver or needle nose pliers to pry
it off, but you may damage the trim slightly.

After everything you can find is removed, grasp the door panel from the
bottom and pull gently. However, you may break some of the clips, so
alternately you can buy a pry tool at AutoZone for ~$6, or use a
screwdriver again. When all the clips are free, lift away from the bottom
of the door and up. If it binds, you've missed a screw somewhere, stop and
have another good look. Depending upon how it's assembled, you may also
have to remove the trim plate where the mirror is mounted. Sometimes it
    clears, sometimes, it don't...

See the free online manuals linked at
    http://home.earthlink.net/~honda.lioness/id9.html . I
removed the door panel on my 91 Civic and a friend's 99
Civic last year using the illustrations from the sources
linked at the site above. They weren't dead-on but were
close enough that, with careful prodding, things came apart
    pretty easily.

to see what the hell has got that window in it's grip!
