  1. many of you don't have your e mails set up correctly or have full mailboxes.
I try to reply to topics. but I get returned mail.

Most people posting in newsgroups deliberately use invalid return
addresses. This is because spamers have been known to lift e-mail
    addresses from newsgroup posts.

Also, what makes usenet work is the sharing of information. If you have
something to contribute, please post it in the newsgroup for everyone to
    enjoy.

And yes, the reply-to address in my post is made up.

I completely agree with you. I've only posted on newsgroups with my real
email address a couple of times at the most, yet I'm enjoying hundreds
    of spams per day.

Of course there have been other reasons as well, but after the
accidental posts on the newsgroups my spam problem doubled.

If you wish, you can remove those posts from Google's archive.

How can I remove articles from Google's archive?

Well said y'all; posting on newsgroups using a legitimate e-mail address is
    simply asking for trouble!

My wife and I bought a brand new 2000 Honda Odyssey from Norm Reeves
Honda of Huntington Beach, CA. One day we received a letter from Honda
explaining that the transmission was defective and that the
transmission warranty would be extended to 100,000 miles and 7 years.
Great! Sure enough, this year, 2004, the transmission started acting
up. I called Norm Reeves, my dealer, and was informed that not only
would they not look at it on a Saturday they would not repair it on a
Saturday. Furthermore, Norm Reeves Honda would require 4 days, or more,
to repair it. Well, surely they would supply me with a loaner until the
repairs had been completed, since it was they who had sold me the
defective van. I talked to everyone that I could; no one would help me.
I would have to rent a car for the full time the Odyssey was in the
shop. No guarantees how long that would be. I then started sending
emails to Norm Reeves () , 20 in all, asking
for someone to contact me. I did not get one response. That is why I
find myself here to tell anyone who would listen.

DON’T BUY CARS FROM HONDA AND ESPECIALLY NOT FROM NORM REEVES HONDA OF
    HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA.

Next time it'll be a Toyota.

Well, now that you've put his e-mail in a newsgroup you can be sure that
it will be harvested by a spammer and he'll change his e-mail address
(if it was every monitored, who knows) after it fills with garbage on a
    daily basis!

Hey! That looks like an e-mail addy you use??? Oops.

Unfortunately, I don't think you can blame the company for a bad dealer
(my fear when I've been looking the last couple of weeks). Many I know
who own a Honda are satisfied. Did you try the local BBB or the region
manager (or whatever they call it at Honda)? Maybe you can get some $$
    back...

Why do you bring this up again? You posted a rant about this back in
March also, did you get another defective tranny?
