My engine mounts are bad in my 92 Honda Accord. What would happen if I
    didn't change them?

  2. One thing, whole car will vibrate when you are on a light or something and
when the engine is on. You will see the dash vibrating crazily.

Also if I am not wrong wear and tear to the engine is more if the engine not
    mounted firmly.

    Experts please comment.

    Thank you,

light or when the speedometer goes below Zero Mark, the dash vibrates badly.

There are many things designed considering proper engine mounting. Besides
the "clunking" feeling and sound, you may end up with other problems. For
example the CV joints will continue to fail because the engine moves more
than designed. Usually the boots will tear. Keep in mind that you may void
you warranty if you replace your c/v shafts/joints due to excessive engine
movement. This is just one of the problems you may incur, worn or bad engine
mounts will put excessive wear on other components ie transmission linkage
    etc.

    Good luck.
