How much a 2004 Accord LX 7-Years/100k Warranty would cost me?

How much people pay for such warranty?

    Thanks!!!

  2. dealership just tried to sell us one for $1395......I have had my 96 Honda
Accord EX since 1999 and with 32k ...it now has 117k on it and I haven't
spend $1395 all together on repairs, including maintenance.

I am sure you can get a warranty cheaper but the point is, why do you want
to spend so much for an additional 4 years/64,000 mile warranty that won't
cover anything that usually needs repair anyway?

Two years ago, I would've said extended warranties are a waste of money on
Hondas, but not now. I've had to spend thousands fixing up my shitty CR-V that
I regret not getting one myself.

I recall Warrantygold offering one for around $700.... but they seem to have
gone belly up. Honda's is around $1200 (negotiable). Regardless, GET IT AT ANY
    COST!!!!!!!!

My Honda dealer offered me an extended warranty for $1,800 when I bought
my '03 Accord EX sedan last year. When I said "no", the business mgr
said she could get it a lot cheaper.
Nothing - didn't buy one, I don't think they're a good buy. YMMV, of course.

I am thinking this is the cheapest you'll get a factory Honda warranty. I
showed this website to my dealership and they were happy to give it to me at
this websites price. much under the $1800 from a previous post.

Now that I relook at the Odyssey prices, I see they have went up $100
since I purchased my vehicle 3 months ago. gee, I wonder why? could it be
    the POS tranny....

  7. I am not 100% positive, but when I printed the prices page and took it to
my dealer when we purchased our Odyssey, they didn't ask any questions and
gave me the price off the website; no hassle.

What I was told by my dealer is that those are the rock bottom prices for
the factory warranty. They said that maybe 1% of customers come in that are
knowledgable on purchase price/warranty information. and those that come in
with the proper info, its a no hassle deal. Take that with what you will.
I personally don't beleave much of what dealerships say, so... I still had
to knock mine on the Honda survey.

The Honda warranty has a refund associated with it.
If you don't use it, they'll refund the cost at the end of the warranty
period. I bit on that one. Buying through Costco.com, the warranty was
also priced lower than list without me asking for a discount.

Did you know that dealer cost on extended warranties can be as little as $300?
An extended warranty can usually be had for 1/4 to 1/3 of the original price
they present to you. Divide by 4 and make an offer. Don't pay more than 1/3 of
the original price in any case.
