I'm in the market for a new 2004 Civic EX Sedan - my daughter is getting my
hand-me-down 2002 EX. What is a fair price this late in the season? Is the
invoice still a valid starting point or should the price be lower since the
model will be a "year old" as soon as I drive it off the lot?

The same question remains for the price of a new 2004 Accord LX V-6.

    What do you all think?

  2. Why da hell do you want to buy the same boring Civic?

Buy something different, like Acura TL, BMW 3-series, Lexus IS300, Mercedes
C-class, Nissan 350Z, Toyota Camry, etc.

Expand your narrow mind.... variety is the spice of life.

I got my Accord EX V6 a month ago for $500 under invoice (Invoice - $500
MFG to Dealer Incentive). There were of course other charges on top of
that, like tax and destination charge.

Looking at edmunds.com, they say there is currently a $400 Mfg to dealer
incentive for the 04 civic ex ending Sept 6 (listed as "marketing
support"). They also have low financing. You should at least be able
    to get that off.

destination etc. I bought the car at Robertson Honda in North
    Hollywood, CA. Hope that helps...

I got my 2K4 Accord EX V6 two months ago for $23,650. You don't save much on
the LX V6, and the extras that you get in the EX are well worth the money.
