false temperature gauge reading

  1. Hi there,
    as title, anyone can give me any advise on how to correct the reading
    gauge.....currently the reading is way up to 3/4 (sometimes overheat range)
    but the car is not overheat......please help me....
    p/s : the car is civic 92

  2. I have sent it to a mechanic n measured the temperature of the engine
    itself.....it is at a normal rate.....even when i'm driving....the gauge
    went up to the overheat n by right the car should be smoke but mine
    does......is there any way i can calibrate it so that i would read normal
    again....thanx

    Maybe add another aftermake guage and sensor kit will make your mind at
    ease.
