Finally - rocking seat fixed on my 2003 Accord

    The driver's seat was loose fore and aft from the day I brought my '03
    Accord home. I brought it back within the first week, the service writer
    confirmed the problem, and I was sent away while Honda tech support "worked
    on a solution".

    Finally after a year of follow up phone calls to the dealer and my bringing
    the car back twice they got it fixed. They said that they installed a new
    mechanism for the seat.

    Whatever they did this time, it worked.

    So, if your Accord has this problem, push on your dealer and it can be
    fixed.

    John,
    Can you tell us what mechanism the dealer replaced to fix your seat? I ahve
    a 2001 EX-V6 with a rocking power seat.

    The receipt says: "replaced seat rail assembly".

    huge PITA! but it does fix it. sometimes the motors get notchy. or
    just plain strip a tooth but the whole power seat frame will fix it.
    i've done about 4 of them now.
