flooding out

    i have an 87 honda prelude 2.0l si dual carb. car runs great MOST of
    the time. i have a problem with it flooding out periodically. it will
    have gas pouring out of the tubes in the throttle plates to some type
    of valve. the valve seems to operate properly if you leave the hoses
    connected to the tubes it will fill the charcoal canister within
    minutes any suggestions would be appreciated. im at a loss now.
