For Sale: '99 Civic Si

    Lost job, would like to sell. Red Si, 54k, Honda Certified used car
    purchased last month by me. Paid $13k would like to see $12k. Located in

  2. Try to sell it back to your dealer and see how much they make on a car like
    that. You will be surprised how little you'll get back.
    If you want to sell it, give at least some more information, model year
    etc.. Try rec.autos.marketplace as well.

    He did... 99 Civic Si 54k mi (certified Used Honda, i.e. still under
    warranty b/c the warranty is transferable)

  4. o yeah, it's in the subject. Who's so stupid to pay $13k for a 4 year old
    civic, isn't that what a new civic costs? I don't want to make the seller
    feel bad, but isn't way to high? I am not an expert though.

    It's an Si... so he can probably get that much (PLUS it's Honda Certified).

  7. oke, i see. looked it up at edmunds.com and it has indeed a $12-13k value.

    I sold the same car last year with the wing and 27k miles for 14k.
    Last I saw it it had a nasty lookin front bumper, a white hood and
    white graphics all over it. Some people are stupid. I was luck, my
    buyer was stupid and had money.
