Front beam for '78 Honda -- Thanks!

    Hello,
    Thanks to all, especially to Bill Coluzzi, for informing me about
    the safety recall for '73 - '79 Hondas. After some communication
    exchanges with a Honda dealer and the American Honda Hqtrs, the
    rusted-out front crossbeam on my '78 Honda Civic was finally replaced
    at no cost to me.
    The prior quotes by local Honda dealers, just for the beam, were
    all the same, $245.98! None of the salvage yards I contacted had any
    Hondas of that vintage.
