Do any of you guys use this for your car and if so, can you please
recommend a good brand to use in my Pilot? Someone told me that STP
stuff is good and also told me that Porsche crowd likes
Techtroline(sp?). As well, how often or at what interval should this
    stuff be used? TIA.

The best IMOP is Chevrons "TECHRON" about every 5-7 K

Once in awhile use Chevron's Techron. You can get the bottles at the
    Chevron gas station racks.
