I have a 1993 Honda Civic DX, 193K on it. Recently had the radiator,
hoses, water pump and timing belt replaced. Before all this went down,
I had noticed a slight hiccup idling, every intermittent, never much to
worry about. I replaced the cap, plugs and wires. It appeared to
clear up. A few weeks later, the car just quits, driving down the
road, loses power, but never stalls. Get into a parking lot, it starts
right up. I put it in drive, and blam stalls. Reverse its ok....drive
stalls. After 20 mins it wont even start. Friend checks it and says
its fuel pump and fuel filter. We replace that. Then replace the
coil. Well it starts but I instantly notice a whining, engine noise
appears to be coming from under the dash. Sounds like engine noisein
your stereo, but this noise doesn't ever change. Also at first thought
it was maybe a belt or pulley. Cannot isolate noise, so friend listens
and says its fuel pump defective, so we return it and put the new on
in. It starts and whines again. I drive it home approx 15 miles,
making 1 stop and it loses power right before I get home, it's like a
hiccup in fuel delivery, I floor it and it catches and I coast home.

Any ideas? Its driving me nuts....The whining noise I am not sure of
but fairly sure its a fuel problem just dont know what. Could it be a
    bad injector? Fuel regulator? Relay?

    Please help!!!!

    Thanks
    Sam
