fully sinthetic oil, how frequently change?

    My 98 Civic had a sooty exhaust since it was brand new. After
    284,000km, the exhaust is still equaly sooty. So, I'm not worrying
    about it.

  2. You might need to check out the web site www.performanceoiltechnology.com to
    gain the basic knowledge about the oil, then you can go back from there.

    Any car will have a bit of soot in/on the pipe. If the bumper and other
    areas near the exhaust are black, that would seem excessive.

    The owner's manual says that you have to change the oil according to the
    maintenance schedule whether you use synthetic or organic oil. It still
    gets dirty the same as dino oil.
