That isn't a detour in the slightest. If people only purchase gasoline from
stations that use strictly Domestic oil, then they aren't "supporting a
country who arranged for the death of 3000 American's".

 

There are plenty of choices. But telling people what they can and can not
drive is unfair. If you don't like SUV's, don't buy one. Others should be
allowed to like and buy them, just as you are allowed to dislike, and not
buy them.

I taught you or one of your clones yesterday that nobody in this discussion
was "telling" anyone what not to drive. Sorry it's hard to tell you fellas

Officially -- I understand that official positions are mere technicalities

SUVs are needed by most people... how? They aren't. They are *wanted* by
some people (whose numbers appear to be shrinking) - for whatever reason(s).
SUVs offer a lot of space along with low gas milage, for a relatively high
purchase price. If you (plural you) don't need all of that space, want to
get good-to-excellent mpg, and don't want to spend more than is reasonable
for a vehicle that fits your needs, you don't want an SUV since it'd be a
waste of money.
